Client Representation

A good client representative helps make sure the science / survey objectives are met safely, provides quality control over the data, and makes sure objectives are achieved within the terms of the contract.

Offshore surveys are dynamic and fast moving.  They are also expensive.  The client representative provides the eyes and ears for the client during the mobilization, survey, and demobilization.  A good client representative helps make sure that the client gets the best outcome possible.

• Safe operations are essential.  A client representative observes the safety practices on the vessel are adequate and in concert with the safety plan.
• Oversight of data quality is a responsibility of the client representative.  Having a client representative with a strong data interpretation background is a strong advantage.
• The client representative is closely involved with changes of plan or other optimization changes during the survey.
